		Company History and Culture History Dickinson Fleet Services (DFS) was established on February 1, 1997 by Bob Dickinson, CEO, and Dick Dickinson, President and COO. In August of 1997, Mike Dickinson joined the Company followed by Ted Coltrain, in May of 1998, both serve as Executive Vice Presidents. DFS, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, started with three locations in Doraville, Georgia (suburb of Atlanta), Indianapolis, Indiana and Pennsburg, Pennsylvania (30 miles north of Philadelphia). Since then Dickinson Fleet Services has grown to a total of 10 locations in five eastern states. Locations and dates started are as follows: Doraville, GA - 1997 Indianapolis, IN - 1997 Pennsburg, PA - 1997 Cincinnati, OH - 2000 Orlando, FL - 2002 Fulton, GA - 2004 Tampa, FL - 2004 Atlanta, GA Captive Shop - 2005 Jacksonville, FL - 2006 Allentown, PA - 2006 Dickinson Fleet Services is the largest independent truck repair and body shop company in the country. We employ nearly 300 total employees of which over 200 are technicians. We are the quality service provider in our industry servicing corporate fleets, leasing companies, logistic companies, and trucking companies We have established a close working relationship with over 600 customers who entrust DFS with their fleet maintenance. Having spent their careers in the truck leasing industry, our founders Bob and Dick Dickinson developed Dickinson Fleet Services to fill an important niche in the fleet maintenance industry. Their goal was to provide the highest level of service for our customers by providing outstanding maintenance, communications, and fleet information so our customers can make good decisions in managing their fleets. In 2005 DFS introduced Dickinson Fleet Management after developing state-of-the-art software that helps our customers manage their maintenance costs and PMs. Fleet Management is an economical option for companies that own their own fleet and need the tools to manage their costs.
