History. Dickinson Fleet Services (DFS) was established  February 1, l997 by Bob Dickinson, President, and Dick Dickinson, Executive Vice President. Other company officers are Vice Presidents Mike Dickinson, and Ted Coltrain. 

The company is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana and started with operating locations in Doraville, Georgia (an Atlanta suburb), Indianapolis, Indiana and Pennsburg, Pennsylvania (North of Philadelphia). These locations have operated as major truck repair facilities for over 25 years. A fourth market was opened in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2000 and a fifth market was opened in Orlando, Florida in 2002. In 2004, a second Atlanta location was opened, and a seventh market was added in Tampa, Florida.

Services from these locations include new vehicle in-service, mechanical repairs, accident repairs, trailer repairs, equipment installation, and welding / fabrication services. All of the locations have highly skilled mechanical and body shop technicians with average experience in excess of 15 years in the heavy duty truck repair industry.

DFS is the largest independent truck maintenance and repair company in the USA. The company has 200 technicians and a total of 270 full time employees. We offer our services to all fleets and truck operators. Customers can get total service solutions to their fleet needs, including information to manage their fleet life-cycle costs. Locations have the latest diagnostic equipment for mechanical repairs, paint booths, frame racks, alignment equipment and collision damage repair equipment.
